I had a super dinner tonight.
My roommate has graduated and got her PhD. In order to celebrate her wonderful work and achievement, I promised to cook (show) her a Chinese dinner.
I was not used to cook big meals on the stove in the dorm (I prefered the small and clean stove/kitchen in our old apartment), so I cooked slow. I started around 5:30pm, finished four dishes, one soup and a pot of rice around 7:40. I think my roommate got too happy by the dishes she liked so much, so she went on talking and taking a rest from the meal for a while and talking and taking a rest from the meal for a while and talking...
Around eleven, we finally got up from our chairs, cleaned up the table, and wahes the dishes. At 11:40, I finally got back to my room...
