We stopped very briefly at Robin Hood's Bay, where I took the only picture of my self during my entire trip. :) You could see my new curly hair in the album.

Then we went further north, to an ancient port called Whitby.
This picture was taken far away from the port. It doesn't look very busy. But on the other side, there were crowded people and boats.

Whitby is also famous because it's part of the setting of the story "Dracula."
After the famed 199 stone steps, here is St. Mary's Church.

This church is mentioned in the novel, and that's the reason why there were A LOT OF people wearing aristocratic European black outfit wondering around the graveyard of the church. Fans of the novel, I guess. It's so interesting that the city was filled with people who looked like coming from another century...

It's a little creepy to see the graveyard. It reminded me of the graveyards in New Orleans. The same creepy atmosphere. How interesting that these two places are connected with legends of vampires.

Then I visited (again, the ruins of) Whitby Abbey, which was  founded in 657 AD.

Then, it's time for FOOD! They said the most delicious and famous FISH AND CHIPS of the country was here:

Well, it's 4.70 pounds, and to me it's just FISH AND CHIPS. This is my first time tasting the "famous British food" in UK, and I think probably my last time as well. I still prefer Chinese, French, or Italian food...
